Nice post! I believe, Customer service isn't about being perfect. Customer service is about making things right, not just the immediate problem, but the root cause. And it is totally about listening to the customer. Thanks for sharing.

I also get this quote in one of the blogs that I came across with. "Treat the customer just the way you would like to be treated". I believe that to win in any market place you need to love your customers..

You talk of screensavers... I have created a screen saver (free for subscribers to Customer Servings, our newsletter) that shows these quotes, and many more. It's a fun little program that 'closes the curtains' to black, and fades the quotes in and out. It comes with a text file that you can amend if you like.
